Fastmarkets Ltd was founded in 1999 by Ross Norman and Dominic Hall; both ex-traders from the London Bullion Market. Our aim was to build a company that provided information products for the metals markets, backed by deep knowledge, experience and passion.

Today, Fastmarkets has established itself as an authoritative provider of fast high quality news and research on the metals markets. We have achieved this thanks to our inspirational advisory board, led by our Chairman John Parcell and to our enthusiastic and highly skilled staff.

Led by Martin Hayes, one of the best-known metals reporters in the business, we have a dynamic and experienced team of journalists who are passionate about the markets they report on. John Parcell - Chairman

Formerly a main board Director of Reuters Group plc, and Chief Executive of Reuters Information, its largest division, in charge of all news reporting and financial data services. John brings to FastMarkets Ltd a strong record in driving revenue and profit growth in fast moving financial markets. In his capacity as Chairman, John provides strong leadership and strategic direction for the business.

Marion King - Non Executive Director

Marion King is Chief Executive of VocaLink, the company (formerly BACS) that owns the most scalable, robust and functionally-rich payments service in the world. Marion was formerly the MD of Global Transactions at Reuters leading a £400m business through product change and innovation. As Managing Director of Reuters Business Information, Marion created and led the division through a sales growth that defined its leading position in Europe.

John Goodger - Non Executive Director

John has a wealth of experience with small businesses which are entering rapid growth. He is a Director of NW Brown Corporate Finance and is on the board of a number of quoted companies (fully listed and AIM) where, amongst other activities, he has assisted with their corporate development and acquisition strategies.

Philip Culliford - Non Executive Director

Philip Culliford is a former executive of, and a current consultant to, Goldman Sachs, where he has been involved originally in PGM and then base metals sales since 1987. Philip is also an LME Board member and his wide experience in the metals market is of great value to the company.

Dominic Hall - CEO

Formerly a bullion trader for Mocatta in London, Dominic joined forces with Ross Norman to found the company in 1999. An IT degree from Durham helped Dominic manage the technical and operational parts of the business in the early years of the company. Now as CEO, he is responsible for leading the whole company forward.

Ross Norman - Director

Ross has a BA (Hons) Degree in Marketing and formerly worked for Sinclair Research, Johnson Matthey, NM Rothschild & Sons and Credit Suisse, where he was a Senior Dealer in physical bullion trading. Founding the company with Dominic in 1999, Ross has become established as one of the most consistently accurate forecasters in the market and is increasingly being sought for comment from the leading newswires, TV stations and newspapers.
