January scrap import volumes were down by 15.54% month-on-month. Turkey imported 1.79 million tonnes of scrap in December.
Turkish scrap imports totalled 1.51 million tonnes in January 2013, 0.77% more than in the corresponding month last year, according to the data released earlier this week by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
