Jessie Ng is an Associate Director for Commodities at SGX. She is responsible for developing and managing SGX’s commodity derivative products, including the derivative contracts for battery raw materials and SICOM rubber - the global pricing benchmark for natural rubber. Jessie has been leading market research and industry engagement for the exchange’s listed derivatives on battery raw materials. She spearheaded the management of SICOM as the global pricing benchmark and the only physical deliverable contract on SGX including the launch of the world’s first TSR 20 rubber options. Through the management of the SGX Rubber Committee, Jessie worked with the industry to design and develop risk management solutions ensuring the continuance of a robust price discovery platform. Prior to her current role, Jessie spent five years in the Derivatives Clearing and Collateral arm of SGX where she managed a team responsible for product launches and system enhancements. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sydney.
