Samarco is a Brazilian mining company whose operations begin at the inland Germano mining and concentration complex and extend to the coastal Ubu site, where pelletizing and export activities are located. The two sites are connected by slurry pipelines running approximately 400 kilometers, enabling integrated logistics.
