Frequently asked questions

Use the sections below to find practical information on CT Asia 2026, including what your pass includes, how the co-located format works, and who to contact for specific enquiries.

Co-location with the International Critical Minerals and Metals Summit

Because the coal and critical minerals industries are no longer operating in separate worlds. The energy transition, electrification, battery supply chains, and Indonesia’s industrial downstreaming agenda are pulling coal producers, traders, and end users into the same conversations as the critical minerals sector.

Co-locating the two events in 2026 reflects that reality. Delegates can stay engaged with the coal market conversations that make CT Asia the region’s most important annual meeting, while also gaining direct access to the critical minerals conversations shaping the next decade of Asian industrial and energy policy.

CT Asia 2026 runs from 27 to 30 September 2026 at the InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran, Indonesia. The event spans four days: networking and pre-conference activity on 27 September, full conference sessions on 28 and 29 September, and a closing networking day on 30 September.

The four day format reflects the expanded scope of the 2026 edition and the co-location with the International Critical Minerals and Metals Summit. It gives delegates more time for structured networking, private meetings, and cross-sector conversations, without compressing the coal agenda.

The International Critical Minerals and Metals Summit 2026 will take place at the InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran, on 27 to 30 September 2026, at the same time as CT Asia. If you are interested in attending the summit as well as CT Asia, any paying CT Asia delegate pass already includes access at no extra cost.

No. Both CT Asia and the International Critical Minerals and Metals Summit are held at the InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran. Conference rooms, exhibition space, and networking areas are all on-site.

Each event has its own conference room, branding, and exhibition zone. Shared spaces include registration, catering, and certain networking areas such as the opening drinks reception. Delegates with paying passes for either event can attend sessions at the other event at no extra cost.

Venue, travel, accommodation, and side events

CT Asia 2026 takes place at the InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran, Bali, Indonesia. Both CT Asia and the International Critical Minerals and Metals Summit are hosted at this venue.

CT Asia called Nusa Dua home for almost three decades, and the move was not taken lightly. By 2024, the event had outgrown the space available there. The InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran, gives us space for the full conference, a larger exhibition, and dedicated networking zones under one roof.

We heard the feedback on traffic from the 2025 edition very clearly. For 2026, we are working closely with the InterContinental and local authorities on an enhanced traffic management plan, with the aim of making access to Jimbaran smoother and minimizing travel time during the event.

Yes. Many delegates host private dinners, client events, and meetings around CT Asia, and we actively support this. We have compiled a list of venues near the InterContinental Jimbaran that are suitable for private dinners and meetings. If you would like tailored recommendations or introductions to venues, contact aymi@indooptimal.com.

Registered CT Asia 2026 delegates are eligible for a special rate of USD 235 plus tax per night at the InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran. This is limited to one room per delegate and is available only after registration. A unique booking link is included in your confirmation email.

We have also partnered with Hotelinx to offer a curated list of nearby hotels across a range of price points. We strongly recommend booking early, as accommodation near the venue fills up quickly during the event.

Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar, DPS, is the main arrival point for Bali. The InterContinental Bali Resort in Jimbaran is approximately 15 to 20 minutes from the airport by car. VIP Plus delegates receive a private airport transfer as part of their pass.

Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Many passport holders are eligible for visa on arrival or e-visa for business travel to Indonesia. Please check the official Indonesian government immigration website for current requirements, or consult your nearest Indonesian embassy or consulate. We recommend checking at least eight weeks before travel.

All event activity is at the InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran. There is no shuttle between separate venues because there is only one venue. For any off-site networking activities or official social programs, transport details will be communicated in advance.
