Delayed publication of Fastmarkets’ North American ferrous scrap prices for May

Fastmarkets advises that, as of Friday May 8, certain monthly North American ferrous scrap markets are yet to settle.

Fastmarkets typically settles these markets on or before the 10th of the month, but publication will be delayed due to delays in buyers and sellers agreeing on prices at the time of writing, and will be deferred as the 10th falls on a Sunday.

The markets not settled by Friday include:

  • Ferrous scrap domestic consumer buying prices, Detroit
  • Ferrous scrap domestic consumer buying prices, Cincinnati
  • Ferrous scrap domestic consumer buying prices, North Carolina
  • Ferrous scrap domestic consumer buying prices, South Carolina
  • Ferrous scrap domestic dealer selling prices, Atlanta
  • Ferrous scrap domestic consumer buying prices, Hamilton, Ontario
  • Ferrous scrap domestic consumer buying prices, Montreal
  • Ferrous scrap domestic consumer buying prices, Seattle-Portland
  • Steel scrap low-residual, black foundry busheling, consumer buying price, delivered mill Chicago
  • Low-residual, ductile-quality shredded clips, consumer buying price, delivered mill Chicago
  • Low-alloy punchings, consumer buying price, delivered mill Chicago
