Transformation of Fastmarkets’ three Brazilian soyoil domestic prices into forward curves with launch of month-two assessments

Fastmarkets has transformed the pricing parameters of its three Brazilian soyoil domestic price assessments into forward curves with the launch of additional month-two (M2) assessments, effective Thursday July 8.

M2 forward assessments will be added to its Soyoil fob Alto Araguaia, no tax, Real/tonne price; its Soyoil fob Ponta Grossa, no tax, Real/tonne price; and its Soyoil cif São Paulo, with tax, Real/tonne price on that date.

The three new assessed forward months will expand the scope of Fastmarkets’ soyoil pricing suite in Brazil, a market of increasing strategic importance for feedstocks and biofuels, where an innovative forward-curve pricing structure will make the existing suite offering more robust while satisfying calls for increased market transparency.
