PRICING NOTICE: Clarification on name of Fastmarkets’ Russian domestic steel prices

In the process of standardizing the names of its prices, Fastmarkets has found that the delivery destination was displayed incorrectly in the name of its Russian domestic steel prices.

In Fastmarkets’ price names for steel cold-rolled sheet, hot-rolled sheet, plate and rebar in the Russian domestic market, the delivery destination had been listed as Russia. The correct destination, as properly displayed in the Fastmarkets ferrous methodology document, is Moscow, Russia.

The names in the Fastmarkets price book have been corrected as follows:

Steel cold-rolled sheet domestic, cpt Moscow, Russia, rubles/tonne inc VAT

Steel hot-rolled sheet domestic, cpt Moscow, Russia, rubles/tonne inc VAT

Steel plate domestic, cpt Moscow, Russia, rubles/tonne inc VAT

Steel reinforcing bar (rebar) domestic, cpt Moscow, Russia, rubles/tonne inc VAT

The values for these prices that Fastmarkets has published are correct, as is the methodology underpinning the discovery of the price.

Please click here to see all of our lists of standardized price names as implemented on July 5.
