Launch of low-sulfur green petroleum coke price assessments in Europe, India

Fastmarkets launched price assessments for both MB-GRA-0049 green petroleum coke, 1.5% S, cif India, and MB-GRA-0050 green petroleum coke, 1.5% S, in-whs ARA, on Thursday September 25.

After a consultation period, Fastmarkets has launched a price assessment for green petroleum coke, 1.5% S, in-whs ARA, to provide closer coverage to the synthetic battery anode, graphite electrode and battery anode markets in Europe.

Fastmarkets also made the strategic launch of a green petroleum coke, 1.5% S, CIF India, price assessment on the same day, to bring pricing transparency to the growing market in that region.

Both prices join Fastmarkets’ existing natural graphite price offering in China, Europe and the US, as well as our existing coverage of the green petroleum coke and needle coke markets in China.
