She is Director Sustainability for Sappi Europe, where she leads a dedicated team and provides strategic direction to accelerate sustainability transformation and performance within the company. Sappi is a leading global provider of sustainable woodfibre products. Sarah serves as the Chair of CEPI’s Environment & Safety Committee, the Chair of 4Evergreen Alliance and is a Steering Committee member of The Forests Dialogue. Working in the forest sector for over 25 years, Sarah’s experience spans from operational forestry through to international forest policy and within research institutes, NGOs and private sector. Sarah possesses a Masters of Forest Science from Yale University and a Bachelors of Science in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of British Columbia.
Philip Damas

Drewry Shipping Consultants
Philip Damas is in charge of Drewry Supply Chain Advisors, the logistics practice of the Drewry group, and is a managing director of Drewry Shipping Consultants. Prior to joining Drewry in 2005, Philip worked for CMA CGM and the container shipping consortium Cobra in various management and financial control roles until 1990. He then spent the 1990s analysing the logistics policies of exporters/importers and of logistics service providers when working with American Shipper and Containerisation International. Philip then became a founding director of the shipping research and database company ComPairData. At Drewry, Philip has advised exporters, importers, lenders and ports on logistics, freight rates, seafreight procurement, supply chains and markets. He has presented papers at conferences in Asia, the United States and Europe. Philip holds an MBA from the University of Bradford Management Centre and a B. Sc. and M.Sc. Finance from the University of Strasbourg.
Natasha Valeeva

Natasha is a NL-based senior sector analyst working for the F&A Packaging and Logistics team at Rabobank (The Netherlands), RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness. Prior to joining Rabobank in 2016, Natasha worked as a Markets and Supply Chains researcher at Wageningen Economic Research, The Netherlands. In this position, she conducted research on a wide range of F&A sectors, such as poultry and dairy, as well as on a number of overarching food supply chain themes, like food waste and food safety. Natasha started her career in 1999 as Quality Assurance Manager at Nutricia baby food production plant (now part of Danone) in Moscow. From there, she moved to the Netherlands to work on her Ph.D. at Wageningen University, focusing on the economics of food safety and traceability in the Dutch dairy chain. During this period, she was also a visiting researcher in the US and Australia. In addition to her Ph.D., Natasha holds a MSc in Agricultural Economics from the Russian State Agricultural University (Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy).

Winfried Mühling has a passion for sustainable packaging solutions. He has more than 30 years of senior level sales and marketing experience in the global packaging, food and beverage, and chemical industry. He developed sales and marketing concepts together with customers from Tetra Pak, Amcor Flexibles, Ecolab, and Mayr Melnhof Board & Paper in the largest packaging markets in Europe, MEA, Asia, and Oceania. He is Director of Marketing and Communications at Pro Carton. Pro Carton promotes the functionalities and benefits of cartons and cartonboard as a renewable, recyclable, and circular packaging material to brand owners, retailers, designers, the media, and EU policymakers
Joachim Klein

Joachim is of German-Swedish origin and holds a master's degree in business administration. Since 1996 he has worked with global companies in the sector to define strategies, improve performance, transform supply chains and integrate acquired companies. Prior to founding StepChange in 2006, he worked for 10 years as a management consultant with a large international management consulting and technology firm, where he was operationally responsible for building the pulp and paper consulting practice. In addition to his specialization in the forest, pulp & paper industry, he has consulting experience from a wide range of other industries.
Patrick Cavanagh

Patrick Cavanagh leads the analysis for specialty pulp at Fastmarkets RISI. He is the author of several recurring and multi-client reports, including the Outlook for the Global Dissolving Pulp Market, the Outlook for World Fluff Pulp, the Nonwovens Price & Cost Monitor and the World Dissolving Pulp Monitor. Patrick holds a Master of Science in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Arts from American University, Washington, D.C
Alejandro Mata
Director – Europe, Graphic & Packaging Paper
Alejandro is responsible for client support and analytics for Fastmarkets RISI’s European Graphic Papers team. Previously, Alejandro was a business analyst for a European fine paper producer. He has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Solvay Business School of Economics and Management in Brussels.
Hannah Zhao
Director – Fibre
Hannah has specialized in the world recovered paper markets for RISI since January 2009. She writes for the World Recovered Paper Monitor and RISI's 5-Year and 15-year recovered paper forecasts. She also provides single- and multi-client studies on recovered paper markets. Hannah holds a Master of Science degree in Resource Economics from University of Rhode Island, a Master of Science degree in Climate Change from Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Lasse Sinikallas
Director of Macroeconomics
Lasse Sinikallas is the Director of Macroeconomics for Fasmarkets. Lasse joined Fastmarkest RISI in August 2017 from a foreign affairs post which he held for the past decade. Lasse’s early career background was in forest products and he also worked in management consulting for Pöyry, IBM and Accenture. He has real-world insight into geopolitical economic analysis, international trade issues, country risk analysis, and the legal and regulatory environment, along with the forest products industry. Lasse holds Master’s degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Economics and works towards a PhD about the impact of cognitive bias in intelligence analysis. He works out of Fastmarkets Helsinki office and is also the Managing Director of Fastmarkets Benchmarkets Administration Oy, the EU registered and FIN-FSA authorized and supervised benchmark administration entity of Fastmarkets domiciled in Finland.
Tero Eerikainen

Tero joined the Fastmarkets RISI’s global packaging team after more than nine years as an analyst and product manager on our mill intelligence team. As an economist he will cover the European containerboard markets and conducts economic analysis of paper packaging markets in Europe. Tero holds a degree of Master of Science in paper and pulp manufacturing and finished his master’s thesis on corrugated board in co-operation with Fastmarkets RISI.

Philipp Jaki

Philipp is a member of the economic analysis team in Europe, and in his role, he monitors and analyzes the tissue and boxboard markets in Europe. Philipp holds an MSc degree in Economics and Political Science from the Università degli Studi di Milano and a BA degree in Political and Social Studies from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität. He further developed his analytical and consulting skills by working as a consultant and business analyst for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Sollers Consulting in Germany and Poland.

António Redondo
The Navigator Company
António Redondo has been the Chief Executive Officer of The Navigator Company since 2020 and has served as a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee since April 2007. He began his career in 1987 at Soporcel, which later became part of the Portucel Soporcel Group, now known as The Navigator Company. Initially, he worked in the Technical and Production departments before moving on to lead the Marketing and Commercial departments. Prior to becoming CEO, he held the role of Chief Commercial Officer until 2019, overseeing Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Product Development. António holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Science and Technology College of Coimbra University (1987), has completed university studies in Business Management, and earned an MBA from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 1998.
