Delayed publication of Indonesian palm oil price assessments

The publication of Fastmarkets’ Indonesian palm oil price assessments for Friday 29 August was delayed due to a reporter error. Fastmarkets’ pricing database has been updated.

The following prices were affected:
AG-PLM-0011 – Crude palm oil, fob Indonesia, $/tonne
AG-PLM-0012 – Refined bleached deodorised (RBD) palm olein, fob Indonesia, $/tonne
AG-PLM-0022 – Refined bleached deodorised (RBD) palm stearin, fob Indonesia, $/tonne
AG-PLM-0024 – Palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD), fob Indonesia, $/tonne

The date has also been corrected to August 29 to reflect its intended publication date to ensure the correct calculation of weekly and monthly averages.

These prices are part of the Fastmarkets Ags Oils, Fats and Biofuels package.

US wheat futures and Euronext contracts were mixed on Tuesday June 16, with most US contracts moving lower, while Chicago soft red winter wheat futures posted gains. Euronext contracts also moved higher during the session. Global cash markets remained subdued, with limited activity as buyers largely stayed on the sidelines. Black Sea wheat prices are starting to trend lower under seasonal harvest pressure, while Australia, Europe and Argentina were broadly steady.
