Delayed publication of Turkish domestic steel scrap price assessments

The publication of Fastmarkets’ Turkish domestic steel scrap price assessments will be delayed due to a public holiday.

Due to the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day on Monday May 19, these prices will be published instead on May 20, in accordance with Fastmarkets’ policy.

This change was not initially noted on Fastmarkets’ 2025 pricing schedule. The pricing schedule has now been updated.

The affected prices are:
MB-STE-0093 steel scrap, auto bundle scrap, domestic, delivered Turkey, lira per tonne
MB-STE-0094 steel scrap, melting scrap from shipbreaking, domestic, delivered Turkey, $ per tonne

These prices are part of Fastmarkets’ steel price package.

For more information, or to provide feedback on the delayed publication of these prices, or if you would like to provide price information by becoming a data submitter to these prices, please contact Cem Turken by email at: pricing@fastmarkets.com.
