Launch of Polish recycled containerboard assessments

Fastmarkets will launch monthly price assessments for Polish recycled containerboard, including testliner 2 140-g, testliner 3 140-g and recycled fluting 105-g on March 27, 2025.

After a consultation period, Fastmarkets has decided to launch these three assessments to complement the existing price series which already covers Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK.

The prices will have the following specifications:

Containerboard, testliner 2 140-g, delivered Poland, €/tonne

Quantity: min 20 tonnes

Basis weight: 140-g

Location: Poland

Incoterm: Free delivered to the buyer’s facility

Timing: Orders taken in the month to date for shipment in the current month or the following month.

Currency/unit: Euro/tonne

Payment terms: Assume normal and customary payment terms.

Publication: Monthly, on the last Thursday of the month.

Containerboard, testliner 3 140-g, delivered Poland, €/tonne

Quantity: min 20 tonnes

Basis weight: 140-g

Location: Poland

Incoterm: Free delivered to the buyer’s facility

Timing: Orders taken in the month to date for shipment in the current month or the following month.

Payment terms: Assume normal and customary payment terms.

Quantity: min 20 tonnes

Payment terms: Assume normal and customary payment terms.

Publication: Monthly, on the last Thursday of the month.

Fastmarkets has launched three weekly wheat freight rate assessments — Ukraine-Egypt, CVB-Egypt and Russia-Saudi Arabia — and has clarified that its existing Black Sea-North Africa freight assessment refers to the Russia-Egypt route and its Black Sea-Persian Gulf assessment refers to the Russia-Iran route.
