These would be in addition to the existing price assessments for MB-SB-0001 antimony max 100 ppm Bi, in-whs Rotterdam, and MB-SB-0002 antimony MMTA standard grade II, in-whs Rotterdam.
The two existing assessments would not be affected by the proposed additions.
The proposal follows the emergence of a widening gap between in-warehouse and CIF Rotterdam prices, which emerged after a prolonged period of weak demand and ample supply in the global antimony metal market. Sellers, particularly new smelters in Southeast Asia, have been willing to offer shipment material at significantly lower prices than prompt material held in European warehouses in order to secure business.
The addition of these price assessments would provide greater antimony market transparency for market participants active on a cif basis.

These prices would form part of the Fastmarkets minor metals package.
The consultation period for this proposed launch starts from January 26, 2026, and will end on February 27, 2026. The launch will take place, subject to market feedback, on March 3, 2026.
