Fastmarkets amends publication times, holiday pricing schedule for Asian base metals assessments: pricing notice

Fastmarkets has amended the publication times and holiday pricing schedule for a number of the base metals assessments it publishes for the Asian market, with the changes taking effect from Thursday May 21.

The amendment follows the decision made on May 14, after a consultation period for the proposed changes which took place between April 3 and May 11.

The changes were first proposed in a pricing note published on April 3

The purpose of the changes is to align the publication times to the activity in the relevant markets and ensure that subscribers receive timely and accurate pricing information.

The affected assessments, as well as the new publication times and holiday calendars, are shown in the table:

These assessments are part of Fastmarkets base metals package.

Prices that are assessed jointly in Asia and Europe will continue to follow the England and Wales holiday calendar.

To provide feedback on these price assessments, or if you would like to provide price information by becoming a data submitter to these prices, please contact pricing@fastmarkets.com and basemetals@fastmarkets.com.
