Fastmarkets launches Europe medium carbon ferro-manganese price

Fastmarkets has launched a monthly price assessment for medium carbon ferro-manganese in Europe, effective on Friday June 26, following market requests for price transparency.

The specification for this price is as follows:

MB-FEM-0010 Ferro-manganese, medium carbon, ddp Europe, €/tonne
Quantity: Minimum 25 tonnes
Incoterm: Delivered duty paid
Location: European main ports
Specification: 78-83% Mn, 1.5% max C, 1% max Si, 0.3% max P, 0.1-0.5% S
Unit and currency: Euro per tonne
Delivery period: Within 90 days 
Payment terms: 30-60 days (other terms may be normalized)
Sizing: Lumps 10-50mm or 10-80mm
Data collection window: By 2pm Friday
Publication frequency: Last Friday of the month, Steel & Ferro-alloys calendar.
