PRICING NOTICE: Correction to high-carbon ferro-chrome, Europe, (60-70% Cr) assessment

Fastmarkets has corrected its weekly price assessment for European high-carbon ferro-chrome (60-70% Cr), which was published incorrectly on Tuesday April 27 due to a reporter error.

Fastmarkets’ weekly price assessment for ferro-chrome, high carbon, 6-8.5% C, basis 60-70% Cr, max 1.5% Si, delivered Europe (MB-FEC-0004) should have been $1.20-1.48 per lb Cr but was published at $1.25-1.48 per lb Cr on April 27.

Fastmarkets’ pricing database has been updated to reflect this correction.

Fastmarkets plans to change the timestamp of several of its agriculture prices linked to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and MIAX Futures Exchange to align the time of publication with the exchanges’ settlement time. The change in timestamp will affect both premiums and outright prices that use those futures as an underlying benchmark, with the change to take effect on May 11.
