End of open consultation on methodology for ferro-molybdenum in-whs Rotterdam; molybdic oxide in-whs Rotterdam, Busan

Fastmarkets invited feedback from the industry on the methodology of its price assessments for ferro-molybdenum 65% Mo min, in-whs Rotterdam, $ per kg Mo; molybdenum drummed molybdic oxide 57% Mo min, in-whs Rotterdam, $ per lb Mo; and molybdenum MB drummed molybdic oxide Mo, in-whs Busan, $ per lb, as part of its annual methodology review process.

This consultation, which was open until April 27, sought to ensure that our methodologies continue to reflect the physical market, in compliance with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) principles for Price Reporting Agencies (PRAs). This includes all elements of our pricing process, our price specifications and publication frequency.

The prices under review were:

  • MB-FEO-0001 Ferro-molybdenum 65% Mo min, in-whs Rotterdam, $/kg Mo
  • MB-FEO-0003 Molybdenum drummed molybdic oxide 57% Mo min, in-whs Rotterdam, $/lb Mo
  • MB-FEO-0004 Molybdenum MB drummed molybdic oxide Mo, in-whs Busan, $/lb

During the consultation period, Fastmarkets did not receive any feedback.
