Fastmarkets will discontinue three of its US-assessed palm and lauric oil prices following an open consultation.

  • AG-PLM-0001 Palm fatty acid distillate, fob Malaysia, $ per tonne
  • AG-CCN-0002 Crude coconut oil, fob Philippines, US cents per lb>

The above prices will be merged with the following prices:

  • AG-PLM-0023 Palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD), fob Malaysia, $ per tonne

Under this change, Fastmarkets will produce a single assessment for the respective markets, with the price histories of AG-PLM-0006, AG-PLM-0001 and AG-CCN-0002 from their dates of commencement up to May 22, 2026, to be retained and take precedence.

The merger of price histories of AG-PLM-0006 and AG-PLM-0021, AG-PLM-0001 and AG-PLM-0023, AG-CCN-0002 and AG-CCN-0003 will, however, be delayed, with Fastmarkets to announce the effective date in due course.

These prices are part of the Fastmarkets Ags Oils, Fats and Biofuels package.
