Fastmarkets proposes to launch Mexico domestic CRB and import SBS boxboard from the US assessments.

Fastmarkets proposes to launch Mexico domestic CRB and import SBS boxboard from the US assessments.

Fastmarkets proposes to launch two price assessments for (1) Cartonboard/Boxboard, coated recycled folding boxboard, domestic CRB kraft/grey back, 320-325 g/m2 or 16-pt, delivered, Mexico, Peso/tonne and (2) for Cartonboard/Boxboard, US export solid bleached sulfate board (SBS) 16-pt folding carton, C1S, fob, Laredo, TX, $/tonne.

The Mexico domestic kraft/grey back CRB price line and US export SBS folding carton grade price line will be reported in PPI Pulp & Paper Week on the third Friday of the month and will be reported the following Tuesday in PPI Latin America. The price lines are intended to be started in January 2025 – so that the pricing in P&PW would first be on Jan. 17 and would be published in PPI Latin America on Jan. 21.
