Clarification of Fastmarkets’ wood products price names

Fastmarkets is standardizing the names of its forest products prices for recovered paper, pulp, paper packaging, graphic paper, nonwovens, timber, biomass and softwood products. Principally to ensure consistent and clearly define the markets.

Fastmarkets is standardizing the names of its forest products prices for recovered paper, pulp, paper packaging, graphic paper, nonwovens, timber, biomass and softwood products. Principally to ensure consistent and clearly define the markets.

Fastmarkets is in the process of standardizing price nomenclature for forest products. This initiative does not alter the existing methodology for price discovery, which remains unchanged. However, we will update our documentation on price methodologies to incorporate the standardized naming conventions, ensuring clarity and consistency across our publications.
