Josh Cowley
Head of research, carbon
Josh is the head of carbon research at Fastmarkets, with more than seven years in consulting and public sector and a background focusing on carbon markets and the wider area of climate economics. He leads the strategy of building carbon assets at Fastmarkets across compliance and voluntary markets and works closely with existing and new customers at Fastmarkets to ensure product development is aligned to market needs.
In his previous role at McKinsey and Vivid Economics, he worked alongside clients across the carbon market ecosystem to support project development, investment and credit sourcing strategies, and has experience working on carbon market policy design across regions as diverse as the UK, EU, Sri Lanka and Jamaica.
