Melissa has over 20 years’ experience in the petrochemical industry prior to moving into biofuels. Understanding the movement from petrochemical refining to recycling for polyester bottles and fabrics, Melissa began an interest in the circular economy space. Before joining Fastmarkets, Melissa provided analytical support at Argus Media before positions in internal communication at ExxonMobil followed by a start in biofuels at Energy Aspects. As an analyst at Fastmarkets, Melissa provides analytics for biodiesel, renewable diesel, ethanol and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), including long-term 10-year forecast for biofuels based on economic and energy demand for transportation fuels.
