Perrine Faye

Perrine is the global head of editorial and pricing at Fastmarkets. In this role, she leads a team of 200 reporters globally and oversees the publication of hundreds of benchmark prices, including the strategic energy transition and battery raw material prices, as well as green metals, biofuels and carbon. Perrine was Fastmarkets’ head of compliance for three years and, in that role, she ensured that the division complied with international benchmarks regulations and laws, and mitigated risks to growth. She spent many years at the helm of the metals and mining pricing team, before expanding her remit to forest products, agriculture and carbon.

Perrine started her career in financial journalism in 2002, with an oil market reporting role at Agence France Presse (AFP) and then the start-up metals price reporting agency Fastmarkets Ltd, which Euromoney acquired in 2016. She holds a Master in International Journalism from City University, London, and a Bachelor of International Relations and Politics. She speaks French, Greek and Spanish, and plays golf and netball. She has two daughters.
