Fastmarkets is proud to announce the recipient of the International Lifetime Achievement Award 2025, an honor recognising exceptional leadership and long-term contributions to the global pulp and paper industry. The recipient for this year’s award is Mr. Li Hongxin, Founder of Shandong Sun Paper.
The award will be presented at the Fastmarkets Forest Products Asia Conference, taking place from 23–25 September 2025 at the Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai. This premier event brings together over 250 senior leaders from across the pulp, paper, and packaging value chain, representing more than 20 countries.
Mr. Li Hongxin is widely regarded as a transformative figure in the modernisation of China’s paper industry. Over the past four decades, he has led Sun Paper’s evolution from a small township factory into a global leader in pulp and paper. As of 2023, the company ranked 21st globally in revenue and 9th in annual output on Paper 360’s World75 list.
In addition to his business achievements, Mr. Li Hongxin has been a pioneer in sustainable development, championing clean production and circular economy practices. His leadership has positioned Sun Paper as an environmental leader and set a global benchmark for industrial upgrading.
