Andrew was appointed CEO of the Mondi Group in April 2020, building on his 20 years of experience in the business, 12 of which as CFO. Andrew has played a key role in defining Mondi’s long-term direction and has experience in various strategy, business development and leadership roles, giving him an unparalleled understanding of the Group’s growth opportunities, capital allocation priorities, stakeholder requirements and operating environment.
Andrew took over as CEO at a time of challenge with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and more recently the conflict in the Ukraine and wider macro-economic uncertainty. Against this context, a hallmark of his tenure to date has been to prioritise the well-being of colleagues and maintain stakeholder confidence in Mondi’s ambitious growth plans.
Andrew is a passionate advocate for the paper and packaging industry, readily sharing his expertise as a CEPI Board member and supporting broader strategic partnerships across the paper and packaging value chain.

In January 2022 Thomas Ott was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Mondi’s Flexible Packaging business and he is a member of Mondi’s Executive Committee.
Thomas graduated in business administration from the WU-Vienna business school.
He has extensive experience in the industrial bags and consumer packaging industries, having held a variety of roles with Mondi for more than 25 years, building Mondi’s Industrial Bags business and shaping Mondi’s portfolio of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions in Europe.
Thomas started his career with Deloitte & Touche in 1992, before joining Mondi in 1995 as a financial controller. He went on to hold a number of leadership roles within Mondi before becoming COO Industrial Bags in 2012, a role he held until 2019. During this time, he successfully restructured Western Europe and supported Mondi’s growth in North America, the Middle East and Africa.
Thomas briefly moved to Amcor EMEA, focusing on consumer packaging as a member of the EMEA executive team in the role VP Food, Snacks and Confectionary before returning to Mondi in March 2021 as COO Kraft Paper & Paper Bags.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Ulreich teaches energy economics at the University of Applied Sciences in Biberach, Germany. His major topics are commodity trading, risk management and energy policy. Before this he worked for nearly 20 years in the E.ON group in various positions: energy and carbon trader, origination, energy policy and energy strategy. Before this he worked for several years in investment banking for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in London, Paris and Frankfurt.

Garrett Quinn was appointed Group Chief Sustainability Officer in July 2021. He joined the Group in 2000 and has occupied a number of roles predominantly in operations, managing corrugated box plants in the UK and Ireland, and subsequently moving to Head of Investor Relations, a role he held for 5 years. Garrett has completed his postgraduate studies with the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership and holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University College Dublin.

After graduating in accountancy in Rome, Saverio Mayer entered the Smurfit Kappa Group at the end of the 80’s as General Manager of SK Tezze & Carmignano (IT) and then of SK Asti (IT). At the end of the 90’s, he became Sales & Marketing Manager for SK Italy and then Vice President Pan European Sales. From 2001 to 2015, he led SK Italy as CEO. During these years he has also been: from 2007 to 2009 CEO SK Russia, from 2007 to 2011 CEO SK Poland and as from 2011 to 2015 CEO of the Group Bag-in-Box division worldwide. In October 2015 he has been appointed COO SK Corrugated & Converting Europe and in April 2017 he became CEO SK Europe for both Paper & Board and Corrugated & Converting divisions. Since May 2018, Saverio is also Vice-President of FEFCO Association, the European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers.

Marco Eikelenboom is Chief Executive Officer at Sappi Europe since April 2021. His professional career started in 1992 with KNP Fine Paper in The Netherlands and after several commercial positions in Maastricht and Paris, he was appointed Manager Corporate Planning when KNP Leykam was acquired by Sappi Ltd. in 1997. Following this corporate strategy position, Marco took on the role as Managing Director of Sappi Benelux and left in 2002 to Sappi’s global Head Office in Johannesburg to become Marketing Director. Marco came back to Brussels as Director Marketing & Sales in 2005 and after the acquisition and integration of M-Real Graphics In 2008, he assumed the global Marketing & Sales responsibilities for the Graphics business of Sappi Europe as Vice-President Marketing & Sales. Marco holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and followed executive management courses at INSEAD, IMD and MIT Sloane School of Management. He lives with his wife and dog Dingo in Brussels and has 3 sons at University in the Netherlands.
