Amendment to frequency of FOB China graphite electrodes high power and ultra high power assessments: pricing notice

After a one-month consultation period, Fastmarkets has amended the frequency of its MB-GRA-0043 graphite electrodes, high power, fob China assessment and MB-GRA-0044 graphite electrodes, ultra high power, fob China assessment, to a monthly basis on every first Wednesday, from the previous fortnightly basis.

The change in frequency, which takes place from Wednesday December 11, is due to inactive spot liquidity and low volatility in prices.

The new specifications are listed below, with the amendment of price frequency in italics:

MB-GRA-0043 graphite electrodes, high power, fob China, $ per tonne
Quality: 350-450mm diameter
Quantity: Min 20 tonnes
Location: FOB China
Timing: Spot
Publication: Monthly, first Wednesday of the month, 4pm London

MB-GRA-0044 graphite electrodes, ultra high power, fob China, $ per tonne
Quality: 450-650mm diameter
Quantity: Min 20 tonnes
Location: FOB China
Timing: Spot
Publication: Monthly, first Wednesday of the month, 4pm London
