Annual Review of PIX Recovered Paper Indices Methodology – Final Decision

Fastmarkets FOEX invited feedback from the industry in an open consultation process between March 6 and April 3, 2024, on the pricing methodology for its PIX Recovered Paper price indices. The consultation was done as part of our annual methodology review process.

In this open consultation, Fastmarkets FOEX proposed to add the 5-digit grade codes according to the EN 643 ‘European List of Standard Grades of Paper and Board for Recycling’ to its methodology document. The feedback received was fully supportive to this. This is not considered as a material change.

A newly dated methodology document, including the new PIX SOP and PIX Multiprint indices for which we consulted earlier, has been posted has been posted.
