Clarification of European animal fats price specifications

Fastmarkets wishes to clarify the specifications for its European animal fats price assessments.

This is intended to give more transparency on these assessments, including the following prices:

AG-TLW-0024 Edible beef tallow, 2% FFA, 99%, DDP North-West Europe, € per mt
Quality: Free fatty acids (FFA) max. 2%, moisture, impurities and unsaponifiable matter (MIU) max 1%, purity min 99%, RED-compliant
Quantity: 100-1,000 tonnes
Location: North-West Europe
Timing: Shipment within the next 45 days from the assessment day

AG-TLW-0025 Edible lard, 1.5% FFA, 99%, DDP North-West Europe, € per mt
