Correction to European aluminium primary foundry alloy assessments on December 19, January 2

Fastmarkets erroneously published the twice-monthly assessments for MB-AL-0339 Aluminium primary foundry alloy silicon 7 ingot premium, ddp Germany and MB-AL-0340 Aluminium primary foundry alloy silicon 7 ingot premium, ddp Eastern Europe on December 19 and January 2 because of a procedural error.

The previously published dates of 19 December and 2 January have been invalidated, and the correct publication date of 24 December is now shown.

Fastmarkets’ pricing database has been updated to reflect this change. Please note the monthly averages for December and annual averages of the two assessments remain unchanged.

The assessments will next be published on January 9.

The following assessments were affected:
MB-AL-0339 Aluminium primary foundry alloy silicon 7 ingot premium, ddp Germany, $/tonne
MB-AL-0340 Aluminium primary foundry alloy silicon 7 ingot premium, ddp Eastern Europe, $/tonne

The prices are part of the Fastmarkets Base Metals package.
