Delayed publication of flat steel reduced carbon emissions, daily inferred, exw China and green steel base price, rebar cfr Singapore, weekly inferred

The publication of two inferred prices for Monday August 25 were delayed because of procedural errors.

The following prices were affected:
Flat steel reduced carbon emissions, daily inferred, exw China, yuan/tonne
Green steel base price, rebar cfr Singapore, weekly inferred, $/tonne

During the calculation of flat steel reduced carbon emissions, daily inferred, exw China, yuan/tonne, the price was incorrectly calculated as 3,400-3,920 yuan per tonne due to a procedural error. That price has been invalidated. On the re-calculation, the date was incorrectly set to August 26.

Both the date and the price have been corrected to 3,430-3,940 yuan per tonne on August 25. Fastmarkets’ pricing database has been updated to reflect this change.

These prices are part of Fastmarkets’ steel physical prices package.
