Discontinuation of legacy European sack kraft prices: pricing notice

As previously announced, Fastmarkets has discontinued its legacy assessments for bleached and unbleached European sack kraft as of January 22 2026.

These are replaced by new series that were launched on January 30 2025.

Fastmarkets made this change to provide assessments more in line with actual market prices. The two series ran in parallel over the course of 2025 to allow stakeholders to adjust to the new price assessments. During this period, a fixed differential established at the launch was applied between the two assessments.

The following prices are affected:

FP-SKB-0003   Sack kraft, unbleached semi-extensible 80 g+, free delivered Italy, € per tonne
