Discontinuation of PPI Europe Paper for Recycling Assessments – Implementation

ollowing the initial pricing notice published on January 26, 2024 and final decision published on March 7, 2024, Fastmarkets confirms the discontinuation of Paper for Recycling assessments currently featured in its PPI Europe publication starting from May 8, 2024.

Moving forward from this date, the discontinued PPI Europe assessments will be replaced in PPI Europe Price Watches with the full suite of PIX Recovered Paper Prices including PIX OCC 1.04 dd, PIX ONP/OMG 1.11 dd, PIX RCP Mixed 1.02 GER, and PIX SOP and PIX Multiprint. The above new price coverage will be in accordance with our PIX European Recovered Paper Price Indices Methodology.
