Early publication of green Douglas fir, southern yellow pine lumber assessments

Fastmarkets’ price assessments for green Douglas fir and southern yellow pine (SYP) lumber were published earlier than scheduled on Thursday January 8 due to a reporter error. The assessments were published at 1.30pm Pacific Time instead of the scheduled time of 3:30pm Pacific Time.

The data submission window had already closed, and the data collection and price assessments were not affected by the early publication.

The lumber pricing suites published early include:

SYP Post Beams & Timbers
SYP Westside

These prices are a part of the Fastmarkets Wood Physical Products Prices package.
