Early publication of international ferrous scrap prices

Fastmarkets’ international ferrous scrap prices were published earlier than scheduled on Friday January 26 due to an error.

The prices were published at 15:30 London time instead of the scheduled time of 16.30. The data submission window had already closed, and the data collection and price assessments were not affected by the early publication.

The prices that were published early were:
MB-STE-0095 Steel scrap, shredded, import, cfr delivered Turkish port, $ per tonne
MB-STE-0096 Steel scrap, HMS 1&2 (75:25 mix), import, cfr delivered Turkish port, $ per tonne
MB-STE-0098 Steel scrap, shredded, export, fob Rotterdam, $ per tonne
MB-STE-0099 Steel scrap, shredded, export, fob main port UK, $ per tonne
MB-STE-0100 Steel scrap, HMS 1&2 (80:20 mix), export, fob main port UK, $ per tonne

These prices are part of the Fastmarkets’ ferrous scrap price package.
