End of open consultation on methodology for Saudi Arabia domestic rebar price assessment

Fastmarkets invited feedback from the industry on the pricing methodology for its steel reinforcing bar (rebar), domestic, delivered Saudi Arabia price, as part of its annual methodology review process.

This consultation, which was open until April 6, sought to ensure that our methodologies continue to reflect the physical market, in compliance with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) principles for Price Reporting Agencies (PRAs). This includes all elements of our pricing process, our price specifications and publication frequency.

The price under review was:
MB-STE-0909 Steel reinforcing bar (rebar), domestic, delivered Saudi Arabia, riyals per tonne

During the consultation period, Fastmarkets did not receive any feedback.

Beyond this open consultation, Fastmarkets also invites feedback on a continuing basis throughout the year.
