Fastmarkets to amend the frequency of publication and clarification of names for four containerboard assessments in East China: pricing notice

Fastmarkets has decided to amend the frequency of publication of its four containerboard assessments for East China from once monthly currently to twice monthly, on June 26.

The decision follows a one-month consultation period which ended on Monday June 15.

Fastmarkets had also proposed to clarify the names of the four containerboard assessments:

  • FP-CTB-0094 Containerboard, kraft-top liner, 170 g, delivered China, yuan/tonne
  • FP-CTB-0095 Containerboard, testliner, 140 g, delivered China, yuan/tonne
  • FP-CTB-0096 Containerboard, high-strength corrugating medium, 120 g, delivered China, yuan/tonne
  • FP-CTB-0097 Containerboard, white-top testliner, 140 g, delivered China, yuan/tonne.

As part of the process of standardizing price nomenclature for forest products, their names will be as follows:

  • FP-CTB-0094 Containerboard, kraft-top liner, 170 g/square meter, ddp East China, yuan/tonne
  • FP-CTB-0095 Containerboard, testliner, 140 g/square meter, ddp East China, yuan/tonne
  • FP-CTB-0096 Containerboard, high-strength corrugating medium, 120 g/square meter, ddp East China, yuan/tonne
  • FP-CTB-0097 Containerboard, white-top liner, 140 g/square meter, ddp East China, yuan/tonne

The prices are part of the Fastmarkets Paper Packaging price package.
