Based on feedback received from the industry between September 15 and October 15 and Fastmarkets research, the average prices will be calculated based on the simple average of Fastmarkets assessments of bleached and unbleached semi-extensible sack kraft 80g+ delivered France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
They will be published on the Fastmarkets dashboard and in PPI Europe, along with our country-specific sack kraft prices. The specifications will be as follows:
Sack kraft, bleached semi-extensible 80g+ European average, €/tonneQuantity: Minimum 100 tonnesBasis weight: 80g+Location: EuropeIncoterm: Free delivered to the buyer’s facilityTiming: Orders taken in the month to date for shipment in the current month or the following month. Data is normally gathered in the two weeks prior to publication.Unit: TonneCurrency: EuroPayment terms: Assume normal and customary payment terms.Price Type: Open-market transactions in ongoing supply relationships (i.e. excluding spot transactions). Transfers between affiliates are also excluded.Assessment Type: Range price assessmentPublication: Quarterly, in the first month of the quarter.Notes: Prices are for prime-quality tonnage with normal trims.
