Proposal to launch US Galvalume import prices

Fastmarkets proposes to launch two assessments, steel coil Galvalume import South Korean-made, ddp Gulf Ports, $/cwt and steel coil Galvalume import non-South Korean-made, ddp Gulf Ports, $/cwt.

These new launches will cover South Korean-made and non-South Korean-made Galvalume imported to the US. It will complement Fastmarkets’ existing domestic Galvalume prices. 

The proposed specifications are:

Steel coil Galvalume import South Korean-made, ddp Gulf Ports, $/cwt
Quality: AZ55 Acrylic Coated Galvalume steel sheet, 26 gauge, Structural Steel Grade 80, 0.018- inch thick x 43 inches wide
Quantity: Minimum 500 tons
Location: ddp Gulf Ports
Unit: US dollar per hundredweight
Publication: Monthly, third Tuesday, 4-5 PM EST
Notes: Standard packaging

Steel coil Galvalume import non-South Korean-made, ddp Gulf Ports, $/cwt

These prices will be a part of the Fastmarkets Steel Physicals Price package.

The consultation period for this proposed launch starts from Wednesday March 5 and will end on Friday April 12. The launch will take place, subject to market feedback, on Tuesday April 16.
