In late December, the company’s finances, which had been frozen in September, were released and business allowed to continue as usual. 

Still under the supervision of a specially appointed commissioner, the group’s long-suffering Taranto steelmaking plant could at last be getting a long-overdue makeover – both in terms of its environmental credentials and the way it appears in local and national media outlets.
