Base metals traded on the London Metal Exchange are mixed this morning, Tuesday March 6, with lead, zinc and tin prices down by an average of 0.5%, while copper, aluminium and nickel prices are up by an average of 0.3%.

Three-month base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange were for the most part weaker on the morning of Tuesday October 23, with losses averaging 0.4% – the exception being tin where prices were up by 0.1%.

Base metals prices trading on the London Metal Exchange are in mixed mood so far on Wednesday December 27, as trade resumes following the Christmas holiday, with lead leading with a gain of 1.2%, followed by copper (+0.8%) and tin (+0.3%), while aluminium, zinc and nickel are in negative ground with the latter down 1.5%.

Three-month base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange were for the most part firmer with gains averaging 0.6% on the morning of Friday October 19, but this follows a general down day on Thursday, when the complex closed down by an average of 0.8%.

Nickel leads the decline with a 0.6% drop to $9,940 per tonne, the rest vary from lead prices being down 0.4%, to aluminium prices being up 0.1%. Three-month copper prices are off 0.3% at $5,872 per tonne.
