Three-month base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange were for the most part weaker during early trading on Thursday September 28, but some strength emerged after trading got underway in Europe.

Base metals prices are up an average of 0.6% with gains seen across the board on the London Metal Exchange this morning, Thursday June 8, helped by better Chinese trade data that showed imports and exports picked up in May.

Three-month base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange were up across the board on the morning of Wednesday June 20, with the complex up by an average of 0.3%. Nickel and zinc prices led the way with gains of 0.5%, while copper was up by 0.2% at $6,843 per tonne.

Base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange are stronger by an average of 1% this morning, Monday January 29.

Three-month base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange were firmer across the board this morning, Tuesday January 15, with prices up by an average of 0.3%.

Nickel and copper prices on the London Metal Exchange are weaker by 0.9% and 0.5%, respectively, this morning, Thursday April 6, with three-month copper prices at $5,894 per tonne, while the rest of the metals are either little changed or off 0.1%.

After last week’s stronger tone in the base metals, this week is seeing some weakness with the metals trading on the London Metal Exchange down an average of 0.5% this morning, Wednesday March 22.
