Three-month base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange were up across the board on the morning of Wednesday June 20, with the complex up by an average of 0.3%. Nickel and zinc prices led the way with gains of 0.5%, while copper was up by 0.2% at $6,843 per tonne.

METALS MORNING VIEW 01/03: Metals prices consolidate, albeit on a back footing
Base metals traded on the London Metal Exchange are for the most part consolidating after recent weakness, the exceptions are aluminium prices that are up by 0.7% at $2,147 per tonne and lead prices that are down by 0.5% at $2,490 per tonne. The rest are little changed, with copper prices recently quoted at $6,943 per tonne.

MORNING VIEW 29/04: Mixed start to the week, but some dip-buying evident
London Metal Exchange base metals prices have generally been weak in recent days but some dip-buying seems to be emerging, which for now is providing support. But, with much of Asia in, or heading for, Golden Week and Labor Day holidays, liquidity is likely to shrink either leading to more volatility, or quiet trading in the days ahead.
