Base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange are for the most part stronger this morning, Monday January 22, with the complex up by an average of 0.2%.

Steel billet prices in Turkey bucked the general global trend during the working week from Monday October 9 to Friday October 13, rising slightly with a rebound in scrap prices.

Disappointing Chinese economic data suggests there is little to be bullish about and therefore it is unsurprising that the three-month base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange were down across the board by an average of 0.7% on the morning of Thursday June 14.
