Correction to copper concentrates treatment and refinement charges indices on March 20 2026

Fastmarkets has corrected its copper concentrates treatment and refinement charge indices, which were published incorrectly on March 20 2026 due to a technical error.

The following affected prices have been corrected:

MB-CU-0287 Copper concentrates TC index, cif Asia Pacific, $/tonne was published in error as $(90.40). It has been corrected to $(90.50).

MB-CU-0288 Copper concentrates RC index, cif Asia Pacific, US cents/lb was published in error as (9.040) cents/lb. It has been corrected to (9.050) cents/lb.

MB-CU-0508 Copper concentrates TC implied smelters purchase, cif Asia Pacific, $/tonne was published in error as $(64.305). It has been corrected to $(64.41).

MB-CU-0509 Copper concentrates TC implied traders purchase, cif Asia Pacific, $/tonne was published in error as $(116.495). It has been corrected to $(116.60).

MB-CU-0510 Copper concentrates RC implied smelters purchase, cif Asia Pacific, US cents/lb was published in error as (6.4305) cents/lb. It has been corrected to (6.441) cents/lb.

MB-CU-0511 Copper concentrates RC implied traders purchase, cif Asia Pacific, US cents/lb was published in error as (11.6495) cents/lb. It has been corrected to (11.660) cents/lb.

Fastmarkets’ pricing database has been updated to reflect these changes.

The rationale for MB-CU-0287 was correct.

Fastmarkets has launched three weekly wheat freight rate assessments — Ukraine-Egypt, CVB-Egypt and Russia-Saudi Arabia — and has clarified that its existing Black Sea-North Africa freight assessment refers to the Russia-Egypt route and its Black Sea-Persian Gulf assessment refers to the Russia-Iran route.
