Renato Rostás

Renato is currently responsible for Latin America’s sustainability coverage at Fastmarkets, after spending close to five years as a Price Reporter for both steel and base metals markets in the region.With more than a decade of experience in Brazilian business and financial journalism, Renato worked at major media outlets such as the Valor Econômico newspaper and the EXAME magazine before joining Fastmarkets. He won an award for best Brazilian steel reporter in 2015 and 2016 and was a nominee for the World Steel Association's Steelies Journalist of the Year award in 2020.Renato holds a Journalism degree from University of São Paulo (USP) and is a Social Sciences undergraduate at the same institution.
