Fastmarkets decides to change the timestamp of several of its agriculture prices

Fastmarkets has decided to change the timestamp of several of its agriculture prices linked to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and MIAX Futures Exchange to align the time of publication with the exchanges’ settlement time at 1:15pm US Central Time.

Fastmarkets consulted the market between April 2 and April 30, 2026. No feedback was received, and Fastmarkets will therefore proceed with the change, which will be effective from May 11, 2026. The change in timestamp will affect both premiums and outright prices that use those futures as an underlying benchmark.

This decision was first proposed in a methodology note published on April 2 which you can view here.
