Launch of western GMA pallet prices

Fastmarkets has launched a series of six US pallet assessments in response to increased demand for price information for the ubiquitous industrial shipping platform.

The initial assessment will be published Wednesday, August 21.

Pallet price specifications are as follows:

FP-LBR-2232 Pallets, western softwood, GMA A-grade, delivered New York City, $/pallet

FP-LBR-2235 Pallets, western softwood, GMA A-grade, delivered Seattle, $/pallet

FP-LBR-2233 Pallets, western softwood, GMA A-grade, delivered San Francisco, $/pallet

Size: 48×40 inches

Species: Western softwood

Location: delivered Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Seattle, Los Angeles

Grades: GMA A-Grade

Unit: US dollars per pallet

Payment terms: Cash terms, no discounts included

Publication: Monthly, third Wednesday of each month, 3:00 p.m. PT

The pallet price series will initially be available as part of the wood products package on the Fastmarkets platform. They will also be published via a monthly email newsletter and on the Fastmarkets website.

Pallet prices are assessed in alignment with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) best standards for price reporting agencies (PRAs).
