Discontinuation of Russian containerboard assessment – Implementation

BRUSSELS (Fastmarkets RISI) – Following a consultation period that began December 15, 2022, and ended on January 22, 2023, Fastmarkets has discontinued Russian containerboard price assessments.

As stated in the open consultation, the Russian pricing series was discontinued to reflect shifting customer priorities. Fastmarkets RISI would like to thank all respondents for their feedback. The last assessment was published on March 2, 2023.

Fastmarkets has corrected its price and rationale for MB-STE-0028 steel hot-rolled coil index domestic, exw Northern Europe and the assessments for MB-STE-0905 green steel base price HRC exw Northern Europe, daily inferred and MB-STE-0912 flat steel reduced carbon emissions, daily inferred, exw Northern Europe, which were published incorrectly on Wednesday April 1.
