Proposal to launch four price assessments for tissue jumbo rolls in Europe

The four assessments cover continental Europe and the UK, for tissue jumbo rolls made from wood pulp and recycled pulp in a basis weight range of 14.5-18 g/square meter.

Europe is the world’s second-largest producer and consumer of tissue paper, accounting approximately for 30% market share. European tissue paper capacity is growing fast and so is downstream integration, with more paper producers entering the converting segment.

The proposed specifications are as follows:

Quantity: Minimum 10 tonnes

Specification: Prices are for tonnage considering regular reels with a width between 2.6 m and 2.8 m, a diameter between 1.5 m and 2.2 m.

Delivery period: Orders taken in the month to date for shipment in the current month or the following month.
Data window: Month up to publication.
Frequency: Monthly. Usually on the Thursday of the last full week of the month.
Notes: Furnish: 100% wood pulp

The consultation period for this proposed launch starts from April 2, 2026, and will end on May 16. The launch will take place, subject to market feedback, on May 28.
